Repair a FIT file that Strava or Garmin Connect rejects

A device that switched off mid-ride often leaves a FIT file without its closing session and activity messages. Strava and Garmin Connect then refuse the upload.

Repair reads whatever is readable, puts the records in order, and writes a complete FIT file.

How it works

  1. Load the file. Problems found are listed next to it.
  2. Run Repair. The report says what was wrong and what was fixed.
  3. Download the repaired FIT. It is verified with Garmin's own decoder before you get it.
